Classroom Rules
1. Treat everyone with dignity (Be Respectful).
2. Follow School Rules (Be Responsible).
3. Come to class on time and prepared (Be Ready to Learn).
Student Participation / Classwork / Grading Policy
We want students to be successful at school. In order to be successful, students need to come to Individual Studies class prepared to work on assignments and materials from other classes. Particular focus should be given to any core classes in which a student is struggling to pass.
Individual Studies and Delta Student Expectations
1. Before entering the classroom; I understand that my cap, other head covering, or sun glasses must be removed.
2. When the tardy bell rings, I must be in my seat to be on time. The Austin High School tardy policy (see previous page) will be enforced. If I am tardy, I will enter the classroom quietly and begin working without disturbing other students.
3. I will bring class assignments, homework, projects, or notes to study.
4. I will not bring food, soda, gum, or candy into the classroom.
5. I will stay awake in class and do my best.
6. When using the chromebook, I must use only teacher-approved websites. I will not play games, change settings, or open other programs.
7. I understand that all electronic devices will be placed in the phone caddy at the beginning of class. I also understand that the teachers can take up my phone and give it to the assistant principal (AP). I understand I must pay money to get my electronics back from my AP.
8. When class is dismissed; I will clean up my desk, put away class materials, and leave in a respectful manner.
